This noticeably accelerates the processes in operational purchasing and supports WESSEL-HYDRAULIK in serving its customers at home and abroad quickly and flexibly.

When drawing parts are requested, the drawings stored in the ERP system are automatically sent along so that the suppliers have all the information they need directly. The process automation saves so much time that customers receive confirmation of their delivery date noticeably faster. At the same time, the purchasing department at WESSEL-HYDRAULIK is ideally equipped for the forecast growth in purchasing volume - without the SRM software, it would have been necessary to hire additional staff. And there is now considerably more room for strategic tasks such as global sourcing and controlling as well as supplier qualification. With the electronic catalog system clevercatalog, which is also integrated into the solution suite, WESSEL-HYDRAULIK is further advancing the decentralization process in procurement. Employees can use it to place orders independently from selected e-catalogs.
In future, cleversource will also standardize and further automate the inquiry processes using forms - all data will be stored and maintained centrally in the ERP system.
