3.1 Informational use of the website

When using our website for information purposes only, the browser used on your device automatically sends information to the server of our website and temporarily stores it in a log file. The following information is also collected without any action on your part and stored until it is automatically deleted
    - the IP address of the requesting internet-enabled device,
    - the date and time of access
    - the name and URL of the retrieved file
    - the website from which the access was made (referrer URL)
    - the browser you are using and, if applicable, the operating system of your internet-enabled computer and the name of your access provider.

The legal basis for the processing of this data is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in ensuring a smooth connection setup, ensuring the convenient usability of our offers and ensuring and evaluating system security and stability.

Further information on the storage period and deletion of data is explained in the following sections.

3.2 Online presence and website optimization

For the purpose of analyzing and optimizing our websites, we use various services that help us to better understand the use of our website and the frequency of visits. Among other things, we collect data about the website from which a data subject came to a website (so-called referrer), which subpages of the website were accessed or how often and for how long a subpage was viewed. This helps us to design and improve our services in a user-friendly way. The data collected is not used to personally identify individual users.

    3.2.1 Cookies - General information

What are cookies? Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer by a website or service and allow you to be reassigned. Cookies are used to transmit information to the site that uses the cookie. Cookies can store various information, such as your language setting, the duration of your visit to our website or the entries you make there. This prevents you from having to re-enter required form data each time you use the website, for example. The information stored in cookies can also be used to recognize preferences and target content according to areas of interest.

There are different types of cookies: Session cookies are data sets that are only temporarily stored in the working memory and are deleted when you close your browser. Permanent or persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period, which may vary depending on the cookie. With this type of cookie, the information can also be stored in text files on your computer. However, you can also delete these cookies at any time via your browser settings.

First-party cookies are set by the website you are currently visiting. Only this website may read information from these cookies. Third-party cookies are set by organizations that do not operate the website you are visiting. These cookies are used by marketing companies, for example.

The legal basis for possible processing of personal data using cookies and their storage duration may vary. If you have given us your consent, the legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. Insofar as the data processing is based on our overriding legitimate interests, the legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The stated purpose then corresponds to our legitimate interest.

We use cookies to ensure the proper operation of the website, to provide basic functionalities and - with your consent - to tailor our services to preferred areas of interest and to measure reach. We use both transient cookies and persistent cookies for this purpose.

You can delete cookies already stored on your device at any time. If you wish to prevent the storage of cookies, you can do so via the settings in your Internet browser. You can find instructions for common browsers here: Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, Google Chrome mobile, Microsoft Edge, Safari, Safari mobile. Alternatively, you can also install so-called ad blockers. Please note that individual functions of our website may not work if you have deactivated the use of cookies.

We also use a consent management platform on our website, which can be used to centrally adjust consents that have been granted. This can be done at any time using the fingerprint shown (bottom left).

    3.2.2 Cookiebot

Cookiebot is a consent management platform that enables websites to protect user privacy and comply with the GDPR when it comes to cookies and tracking. "Cookiebot" is an offer from the provider Usercentrics A/S, 1058 Copenhagen, Denmark.
Through the "Cookiebot" function, we inform our website visitors about the use of cookies and other technologies on our website and enable them to make a decision about their use. If the visitor consents to the use of cookies, the following data is automatically logged

    - IP number of the user,
    - Date and time of consent,
    - User agent of the end user's browser,
    - URL of the provider,
    - cookies authorized by the user (cookie status), which are required as proof of consent,
    - anonymous, random and encrypted key.

The encrypted key and the cookie status are stored on the user's end device using a cookie in order to establish the corresponding cookie status on future page views. This cookie is automatically deleted after 12 months.
The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the user-friendliness of the website and in fulfilling the legal requirements of the GDPR and the TTDSG.
The user can prevent or terminate the installation of cookies and their storage, and thus their cookie consent, at any time by changing their browser settings. You can open and edit the Cookiebot settings via the icon at the bottom left.
Further information on Cookiebot can be found at
    https://www.cookiebot.com/de/privacy-policy/

    3.2.3 Google Analytics

If you have given your consent, this website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC. The controller for users in the EU/EEA and Switzerland is Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google").
Google Analytics uses cookies to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information collected by the cookies about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. We use the User ID function. With the help of the user ID, we can assign a unique, permanent ID to one or more sessions (and the activities within these sessions) and analyze user behavior across devices.

We use Google Signals. This allows Google Analytics to collect additional information about users who have activated personalized ads (interests and demographic data) and ads can be delivered to these users in cross-device remarketing campaigns.

We use the 'anonymizeIP' function (so-called IP masking): In Google Analytics, the anonymization of IP addresses is activated by default. Due to IP anonymization, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

Your user behavior is recorded during your visit to the website.

On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website and to compile reports on website activity. The reports provided by Google Analytics are used to analyze the performance of our website and the success of our marketing campaigns.

During your visit to the website, the following data is collected, among others
    - the pages you visit, your "click path"
    - Achievement of "website goals" (conversions, e.g. newsletter registrations, downloads)
    - Your user behavior (e.g. clicks, dwell time, bounce rates)
    - Your approximate location (region)
    - Your IP address (in abbreviated form)
    - Technical information about your browser and the end devices you use (e.g. language setting, screen resolution)
    - your internet provider
    - the referrer URL (via which website/advertising medium you came to this website)
Recipients of the data are/may be
    - Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (as processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR)
    - Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA
    - Alphabet Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA

It cannot be ruled out that US authorities may access the data stored by Google.

Insofar as data is processed outside the EU/EEA and there is no level of data protection corresponding to the European standard, we have concluded EU standard contractual clauses with the service provider to establish an appropriate level of data protection. The parent company of Google Ireland, Google LLC, is based in California, USA. A transfer of data to the USA and access by US authorities to the data stored by Google cannot be ruled out. The USA is currently considered a third country from a data protection perspective. You do not have the same rights there as within the EU/EEA. You may not be entitled to any legal remedies against access by authorities.

The data sent by us and linked to cookies is automatically deleted after 24 months. Data that has reached the end of its retention period is automatically deleted once a month. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by
    a. Not giving your consent to the setting of cookies or b. Downloading and installing the browser add-on to deactivate Google Analytics HERE.

You can also prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software. However, if you configure your browser to reject all cookies, this may limit the functionality of this and other websites.

The legal basis and revocation option for this data processing is your consent, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by accessing the cookie settings in our Consent Management Platform (displayed fingerprint at the bottom left) and changing your selection there. You can find more information on the terms of use of Google Analytics and data protection at Google at https://marketingplatform.google.com/about/analytics/terms/de/ and at https://policies.google.com/?hl=de.

3.2.4 Google Ads Re/Marketing Services and conversion tracking

We use the marketing and remarketing services ("Google Marketing Services" for short) of the provider Google on our website. This serves the optimization and economic operation of our online offer. Google marketing services allow us to display advertisements for our website in a more targeted manner in order to present you only with advertisements that may match your interests. If, for example, you are shown advertisements for our services on other websites, this is referred to as "remarketing". For these purposes, when you visit our and other websites on which Google marketing services are active, Google executes a Google code directly and so-called (re)marketing tags (invisible graphics or code, also known as "web beacons") are integrated into the website. With their help, an individual cookie, i.e. a small file, is stored on your device (comparable technologies can also be used instead of cookies).

The cookies can be set by various domains, including google.com, doubleclick.net, invitemedia.com, admeld.com, googlesyndication.com or googleadservices.com. This file records which websites you have visited, which content you are interested in and which offers you have clicked on, as well as technical information on the browser and operating system, referring websites, time of visit and other information on the use of the online offer. Your IP address is also recorded, whereby we inform you in the context of Google Analytics that the IP address is shortened within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area and only in exceptional cases is it transmitted in full to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address will not be merged with your data within other Google offers.

Google may also combine the aforementioned information with such information from other sources. If you subsequently visit other websites, you may be shown ads tailored to your interests.

We process your data pseudonymously as part of Google marketing services. This means that Google does not store and process your name or e-mail address, for example, but processes the relevant data in relation to cookies within pseudonymous user profiles. The information collected by Google marketing services about users is transmitted to Google and stored on Google's servers in the USA.

The Google marketing services we use include the online advertising program "Google Ads" (formerly: "Google AdWords"). In the case of Google Ads, each Ads customer receives a different "conversion cookie". Cookies can therefore not be tracked via the websites of Ads customers. The information collected with the help of the cookie is used to create conversion statistics for Ads customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Ads customers find out the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified.

We also use the "Google Tag Manager" to integrate and manage the Google analysis and marketing services on our website.

This service may transfer the data collected to another country. Please note that this service may transfer data outside the European Union and the European Economic Area and to a country that does not offer an adequate level of data protection. If the data is transferred to the USA, there is a risk that your data may be processed by US authorities for control and monitoring purposes without you having any legal recourse.

Further information on the use of data for marketing purposes by Google can be found on the overview page: https://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads, Google's data protection information is available at https://www.google.com/policies/privacy.

If you wish to object to interest-based advertising by Google marketing services, you can use the setting and opt-out options provided by Google: https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated?hl=de

The legal basis and revocation option for this data processing is your consent, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by accessing the cookie settings in our Consent Management Platform (displayed fingerprint at the bottom left) and changing your selection there.

    3.2.5 Google Tag Manager

For reasons of transparency, we would like to point out that we use the Tag Manager of the provider Google. This is a tag management system for managing JavaScript and HTML tags, which is used for the implementation of tracking and analysis tools.
The Google Tag Manager itself does not collect any personal data. The Tag Manager makes it easier for us to integrate and manage our tags. Tags are small code elements that are used, among other things, to measure traffic and visitor behaviour, record the impact of online advertising and social channels, set up remarketing and targeting and test and optimize websites. If you have made a deactivation, this deactivation will be taken into account by Google Tag Manager. For more information about Google Tag Manager, see:
    www.google.com/intl/de/tagmanager/use-policy.html

    3.2.6 Google Analytics Audiences

If you have given your consent, Google Analytics Audience (GA Audience), an advertising and conversion tracking service, is used on this website. The responsible service provider in the EU is Google Ireland Limited.

GA Audience uses cookies that are stored on your computer and other mobile devices (e.g. smartphones, tablets, etc.) and that enable an analysis of the use of the corresponding devices. In some cases, the data is analyzed across devices. Google Audience receives access to the cookies created as part of the use of Google AdWords and Google Analytics. The following data is processed during use

    - User agent
    - Location information
    - Referral URL
    - IP address
    - Page depth
    - Session duration
    - Date and time of the visit
    - Usage data

This service may transfer the collected data to another country. Please note that this service may transfer data outside the European Union and the European Economic Area and to a country that does not offer an adequate level of data protection. If the data is transferred to the USA, there is a risk that your data may be processed by US authorities for control and monitoring purposes without you having any legal recourse.

Further information on data protection when using GA Audience can be found at the following link: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/2700409?hl=en&ref_topic=2611283

    3.2.7 Google AdSense

If you have given your consent, Google AdSense, an online advertising service, is used on this website. The responsible service provider in the EU is Google Ireland Limited.

Google AdSense uses cookies that are stored on your computer and collect statistical information about you that is processed by our advertising partners. We use Google AdSense to present you with advertising tailored to your interests. When you visit our website, Google receives the information that you have accessed our website. This service may transfer the data collected to another country. Please note that this service may transfer data outside the European Union and the European Economic Area and to a country that does not offer an adequate level of data protection. If the data is transferred to the USA, there is a risk that your data may be processed by US authorities for monitoring and surveillance purposes without you having any legal recourse.

If you are logged in with your Google account, your data can be directly assigned to it. If you do not wish to be associated with your Google profile, you must log out. You can prevent Google AdSense from setting cookies by deactivating interest-based ads on Google via the link https://www.google.de/ads/preferences. You can also deactivate interest-based ads from providers that are part of the "About Ads" self-regulation campaign via the link http://www.aboutads.info/choices.

Both deactivation settings are deleted when you delete your cookies. You can also use the link https://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin to permanently deactivate cookies in Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome browsers. However, it may then not be possible to make full use of all the functions of this website.

Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing by Google can be found at: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads?hl=de.

    3.2.8 DoubleClick by Google

If you have given your consent, the online marketing tool DoubleClick by Google is used on this website. The responsible service provider in the EU is Google Ireland Limited.
DoubleClick uses cookies to display ads that are relevant to users, to improve campaign performance reports or to prevent users from seeing the same ads more than once. Google uses a cookie ID to record which ads are displayed in which browser. This prevents the same ad from being shown more than once. In addition, DoubleClick can use cookie IDs to record so-called conversions with reference to ads. This is the case, for example, when a user sees a DoubleClick ad and later visits the advertiser's website with the same browser and makes a purchase there.

When you access a page that uses DoubleClick and where the DoubleClick script is permitted, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Google server. By integrating DoubleClick, Google receives the information that you have called up the corresponding part of our website or clicked on an advertisement from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account.

This service may forward the data collected to another country. Please note that this service may transfer data outside the European Union and the European Economic Area and to a country that does not offer an adequate level of data protection. If the data is transferred to the USA, there is a risk that your data may be processed by US authorities for monitoring and surveillance purposes without you having any legal recourse. Below you will find a list of the countries to which the data is transferred. This may be the case for various purposes, e.g. for storage or processing.

You can prevent the collection by this tracking procedure in various ways: a. by setting your browser accordingly. Suppressing third-party cookies means that you will not be shown any ads from third-party providers. b. By deactivating cookies for conversion tracking, you prevent interest-based advertising from being displayed. To do this, you must block cookies from the domain "www.googleadservices.com" in your browser. c. You can set an opt-out cookie at https://www.google.de/settings/ads. However, this setting will be deleted if you delete all your cookies. d. By deactivating the interest-based ads of the providers that are part of the "About Ads" self-regulation campaign via the link http://www.aboutads.info/choices, whereby this setting is deleted when you delete your cookies; ) by permanently deactivating cookies in your browser under the link https://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin.

We would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of our website to their full extent.

    3.2.17 Dealfront (Leadfeeder)

We use the technology of Dealfront Group GmbH, Durlacher Allee 73, 76131 Karlsruhe, Germany, hereinafter referred to as Dealfront, on our website.

We use Dealfront to analyze and identify company visitors to our website. We use the service primarily to identify potential B2B customers, to analyze the use of our online presence and to create and optimize sales and marketing strategies.

For this purpose, your IP address is processed in order to recognize whether it is a company-related IP address. In addition to the IP address, Dealfront collects information about the websites visited and page views. This also includes the source that led to our online presence. For company identification, IP addresses are linked to company-specific information such as company names and industry codes. This data is supplemented by so-called web crawling and social media information with freely available data. This can include, for example, addresses, industries and employee numbers.

For this purpose, the IP address of the website visitor and the corresponding session data are compared with an extensive whitelist of known companies at the start of the session. Unfortunately, we have no knowledge of the composition of these whitelists. We have no influence on this.

In order to increase the data protection of our visitors, we have activated "IP address anonymization" so that only shortened values are saved instead of the actual IP addresses and are stored with Dealfront. When this function is activated, we do not store the actual IP address anywhere in our systems, not even in the logs. This anonymization makes it impossible to connect to external IP address information later, preventing the identification of an individual person.

As part of the integration of Dealfront into our website, the following first-party cookies are used to analyze visitor behavior:

    dealfront_cookies

The legal basis for the processing and storage of the data is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TDDDG. Consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the original purposes or you have withdrawn your consent.

Further information about the provider Dealfront can be found in the privacy policy at https://www.dealfront.com/privacy-notice/.

    3.3 Newsletter

You can subscribe to free newsletters on our website. When you register, the data from the input screen is transmitted to us.

The only mandatory fields are your e-mail address, your country and your area of interest. You have the option of entering your title, surname and first name as well as the company you work for.

In order to ensure that no errors have been made when entering the e-mail address, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure: After you have entered your e-mail address in the registration field, we will send you a confirmation link. Only when you click on this confirmation link will your e-mail address be added to our mailing list. Your electronic contact data will be processed at this point solely on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. All you need to do is click on the "Unsubscribe" button at the end of each newsletter.

If you have provided optional information when registering for our newsletter, we process this data on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) in an appealing presentation of our newsletter and exclusively to address you personally within the newsletter.

The newsletter is also sent on the basis of the sale of goods or services:

If you purchase goods or services and provide your email address in the process, it may subsequently be used by us to send you a newsletter. In such a case, the newsletter will only be used to send direct advertising for our own similar goods or services. The legal basis for sending the newsletter as a result of the sale of goods or services is Section 7 (3) UWG.

You can object to the sending of the newsletter on the basis of an existing customer relationship at any time.

No data will be passed on to third parties in connection with the data processing for sending newsletters. The data is used exclusively for sending the newsletter.
Marketing emails are sent using HubSpot Mail, the server location is the USA.

    Newsletter tracking

We would like to point out that we evaluate your user behavior when sending the newsletter in order to determine whether and when the newsletter was opened. For this evaluation, the emails sent contain so-called web beacons or tracking pixels, which are stored on our server and loaded when the newsletter is opened. Technical information such as browser type, time of opening and IP address are transmitted. For analysis purposes, we link the aforementioned data and the web beacons with your email address and an individual ID. Links received in the newsletter also contain this ID and enable us to analyze your click behavior.

We use the data obtained in this way to create a user profile in order to tailor the newsletter to your individual interests. We record when you read our newsletters, which links you click on in them and deduce your personal interests from this. We link this data to actions you have taken on our website. The legal basis for this data processing is your consent, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR.

You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. In this case, the revocation includes the entire newsletter, as a separate revocation of tracking is unfortunately not technically possible. To do so, simply click the unsubscribe link provided in every email.

Such tracking is also not possible if you have deactivated the display of images in your e-mail program by default. In this case, the newsletter will not be displayed in full and you may not be able to use all the functions. If you display the images manually, the above-mentioned tracking will take place. The information from the tracking is stored for as long as you are subscribed to the newsletter. After you unsubscribe, the data is anonymized and used purely for statistical purposes. The data you provide us with for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and deleted after you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Data stored by us for other purposes remains unaffected by this.

    3.4 Contacting us

You have the option of contacting us via our e-mail address, our chat or our call-back service contact form. We will of course use the personal data transmitted to us in this way exclusively for the purpose for which you provide it to us when contacting us. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to your request in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

If we request information via our contact form that is not required to contact you, we have always marked this as optional. We use this information to specify your request and to improve the processing of your request. This information is provided expressly on a voluntary basis and with your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. Insofar as this involves voluntary information on communication channels (e.g. e-mail address, telephone number), you also consent to us contacting you via this communication channel in order to respond to your request.

You can of course revoke this consent at any time for the future. To do so, please use the contact address above.

We will delete the data collected in this context after storage is no longer required, or restrict processing if there are statutory retention obligations.

    4 Registration on the website

You can log in/register in certain areas of our website in order to use additional functions on the site. We use the data entered for this purpose only for the purpose of using the respective offer or service for which you have registered - for example, registering for an event or downloading an information brochure. The mandatory information requested during registration must be provided in full. Otherwise we may refuse your registration. In the event of important changes, for example to the scope of the offer or technically necessary changes, we will use the e-mail address provided during registration to inform you in this way.

The data entered during registration is processed on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time. All you need to do is send us an informal email.

The legality of the data processing that has already taken place remains unaffected by the revocation.

In certain cases, we would also like to use the information received through registration to send you information from our product portfolio or other news by email. If we also use your data from the registration for these purposes, we will always inform you of this as part of the registration process. The legal basis for this is always your consent, which you give by registering for the corresponding offers.

The data collected during registration will be stored by us as long as you are registered on our website or the corresponding service is to be used. If you have also consented to the sending of information when registering, we will store your data until you withdraw your consent. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

    5. applications

You can apply online via our application portal at https://jobs.proalpha.com/de. Your online application will be forwarded directly to the HR department via an encrypted connection and will of course be treated confidentially.

Should you nevertheless apply to us by e-mail, we expressly point out that sending unencrypted e-mails or e-mail attachments is not secure. Your details will be used to process your application and to decide whether to establish an employment relationship. The legal basis is § 26 para. 1 i.V.m. para. 8 sentence 2 BDSG. Furthermore, your personal data may be processed if this is necessary to defend against legal claims asserted against us in the application process. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. The legitimate interest in the processing also lies in the stated purposes.

If there is an employment relationship between you and us, we may process the personal data already received from you for the purposes of the employment relationship in accordance with Section 26 (1) BDSG if this is necessary for the performance or termination of the employment relationship or for the exercise or fulfillment of the rights and obligations of the representation of employees' interests arising from a law or a collective agreement, a works or service agreement (collective agreement).

Your application data will not be processed beyond the use described above. Your personal data will be deleted after completion of the application process after 6 months at the latest, provided that no other legitimate interests on our part prevent deletion or you have not given us your consent for longer storage. Other legitimate interest in this sense is, for example, a burden of proof in proceedings under the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG).

Further information on data protection in the application process can be found in the corresponding data protection information on our careers page.

6.5 Is your data transferred to countries outside the European Union (so-called third countries)?

Countries outside the European Union (and the European Economic Area "EEA") handle the protection of personal data differently than countries within the European Union. In some cases, we also use service providers located in third countries outside the European Union to process your data. For some of these third countries, there is currently no decision by the EU Commission that they generally offer an adequate level of protection.

We have therefore taken special measures to ensure that your data is processed just as securely in third countries as it is within the European Union. We conclude standard data protection clauses provided by the Commission of the European Union with service providers in third countries and within our group of companies. These clauses provide suitable guarantees for the protection of your data with service providers in third countries. We have also taken contractual and organizational measures within our group of companies to ensure that the legal requirements for third country transfers are complied with.

6.6 How long will my data be stored?

We store your personal data for as long as it is required for the respective purpose pursued and is necessary to fulfill our legal and contractual obligations.

The same applies in the case of revoked consent.

For details of your rights, please refer to section 9 of this data protection information.

    7.1.1 YouTube

We use YouTube services on our website, a provider of video content from Google LLC. The responsible service provider in the EU is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). This serves to improve our online offering. This always presupposes that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as "third-party providers") are aware of the IP address of the user. Without the IP address, they would not be able to send the content to the respective user's browser. The IP address is therefore required to display this content. We endeavor to only use content whose respective providers only use the IP address to deliver the content. However, we have no influence on whether the third-party providers store the IP address, e.g. for statistical purposes. If we are aware of this, we will inform users of this. The legal basis and revocation option for this data processing is your consent, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by accessing the cookie settings in our Consent Management Platform (displayed fingerprint at the bottom left) and changing your selection there.

    7.1.2 LinkedIn widget

We use the LinkedIn widget on our website. The service provider is LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland. This serves to improve our online offering and communication. This always presupposes that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as "third-party providers") are aware of the IP address of the users.
6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by accessing the cookie settings in our Consent Management Platform (displayed fingerprint at the bottom left) and changing your selection there.

    7.1.3 Vimeo

We use the service of Vimeo LLC, 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA ("Vimeo") to play video content. These are loaded by Vimeo or transmitted via Vimeo. Your data may be transmitted to Vimeo in the process. The purpose of integrating Vimeo videos is to make the platform offerings more interesting and attractive for users and to achieve a better presentation of content for the use of our products.
When you access a page in which a video is embedded via Vimeo, a connection is usually established to the Vimeo servers and data is sent to servers in the USA, which tells the Vimeo server which website you have visited. By using our consent management tool for consent management, this is prevented if you have not consented to data processing with regard to Vimeo. Due to the integration of Vimeo, no data is transferred without your consent.
If you have consented to data processing by Vimeo via the consent management tool, you agree that, regardless of whether you have a Vimeo account or not, data about you will be transmitted to Vimeo by means of cookies and similar technologies used by Vimeo when you watch a video. This includes, among other things, your IP address, technical information about your browser type, your operating system or very basic device information. If you are logged in to Vimeo at this time, the information about the videos you have viewed can be assigned to your Vimeo member account. You can prevent this by logging out of your member account before visiting the platform. Vimeo is based in the USA. Vimeo also uses data centers in the USA to provide its services. Your data may therefore also be processed on servers in the USA. The legal basis for the described data processing is your consent, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG. You can revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future. Further information on Vimeo's data protection is provided by Vimeo under the following link: https://vimeo.com/privacy.

    8 Data transmission

8.1 Transmission to companies of the Proalpha Group

Your data will not be transferred to third parties outside the Proalpha Group unless we are legally obliged to do so, the transfer of data is necessary for the execution of the contractual relationship or you have previously expressly consented to the transfer of your data. External service providers and partner companies will only receive your data if this is necessary to process your request. In these cases, however, the scope of the data transmitted is limited to the necessary minimum.
Certain services within our group of companies are provided centrally by individual companies. It is therefore possible that data may be passed on within the group as part of order processing, customer support, marketing campaigns or for internal administration and evaluation purposes. Only the data that is absolutely necessary for the purpose pursued in each case is transmitted and deleted after the purpose has ceased to apply and the statutory retention periods have expired.

We have ensured through internal agreements and rules of conduct that the integrity and security of data transmitted in this way can always be guaranteed.

8.2 Transmission to external service providers

Your data will be passed on to service partners if they work on our behalf and support Proalpha in the provision of their services.

The processing of your personal data by commissioned service providers takes place within the framework of order processing in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. The aforementioned service providers only receive access to personal information that is necessary for the performance of their respective activities. These service providers are prohibited from passing on your personal information or using it for other purposes, in particular for their own advertising purposes.

Where external service providers come into contact with your personal data, we have taken legal, technical and organizational measures and carried out regular checks to ensure that they also comply with the applicable data protection regulations. Your personal data will not be passed on to other companies for commercial purposes.

    9 Rights of data subjects

    9.1 General rights

You have the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing and data portability. If processing is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw this consent with effect for the future.

9.2 Rights in data processing based on legitimate interest

In accordance with Art. 21 para. 1 GDPR, you have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you which is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. e) GDPR (data processing in the public interest) or on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR (data processing to safeguard a legitimate interest); this also applies to profiling based on this provision. If you object, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.

9.3 Rights in the case of direct advertising

If we process your personal data for direct marketing purposes, you have the right under Art. 21 (2) GDPR to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for such marketing, which includes profiling to the extent that it is related to such direct marketing. If you object to processing for direct marketing purposes, we will no longer process your personal data for these purposes.
