A company's spend structure is a critical success factor. The procurement data from DIG Catalog Procurement contains a range of valuable information: A clear presentation of procurement volumes by product groups, users, cost centers, suppliers and much more provides the basis for a more economical supplier structure and bundling of requirements. The data can also be used to derive measures for risk optimization or to improve compliance.
Transparent data on spending at any flight level and in any desired relationship - the potential of spend analytics for companies is very promising. In addition to the examples mentioned above, highly accurate information on a company's cash flows also influences the development of performance, working capital management and even liquidity! With Spend Analytics from DIG, you can stay on top of things.
There is only one limit to the analysis options: the available data. Depending on the objective and data depth, the tool can also be individually adapted. But even the standard version can answer purchasing-related questions such as
- What is being purchased?
- From which suppliers and in what weighting?
- At what prices?
- When? Who? How often?
- Are the data constant over the observation period or are there outliers?
The filter criteria can be defined as required (depending on the basic data). In the standard system, six areas provide a quick overview. In the first area, various filter criteria such as the location (company code), suppliers, delivery points or customers can be selected. The period to be analyzed can be defined in area 2, below which (3) there is an overview of the most important KPIs (depending on the desired definition). In the fourth area, the top 10 suppliers by turnover are displayed in the example using an area chart. The multidimensional combination chart below (5) provides an overview of sales and the number of orders by month and supplier. In the last row (6), a pivot display with further details can be opened by clicking.
