IT employee for digitization processes (m/f/x)

You don't have to be called EDI to love EDI! It is absolutely sufficient if you can identify yourself with electronic data exchange and the data formats commonly used for it. Due to the many inquiries in the digitization area, we are looking for reinforcement for our team of 5, which supports both new and existing customers from a wide range of industries and handles the entire order-to-cash process for them in digital form. As IT employee, you are an indispensable link between the specialist department, internal IT and external service providers.

Your tasks

  • Recording of the requirement profile as well as consultation with the customer
  • Support for EDI connections in various formats - from analysis and setup to mappings and commissioning
  • Independent implementation of EDI customer projects as well as support of interfaces to partners
  • Contact person for customers in case of relevant EDI questions and takeover of 2nd level support

Your profile

  • Strong interest in logistics processes
  • As a junior, you will have completed IT training (ideally) with a focus on logistics or business administration. In any case, you should have database knowledge (e.g. SQL) as well as basic programming know-how.
  • As a senior, you already bring relevant professional experience in the EDI environment, have comprehensive know-how around the common protocols and formats (EDIFACT, iDoc, VDA, etc). So it is no problem for you to take over the complete setup of EDI connections.
  • Personally, you score with strong communication skills as well as an analytical and solution-oriented way of thinking.
  • Plus, you're not afraid of challenging tasks that bring out the tinkerer in you.
